Beaudesert police are investigating a smash and grab at the town’s IGA early this morning.
It’s estimated the thieves got away with eight to ten cartons of cigarettes and about $20,000 in cash after they broke into the office by smashing through the back doors just after three o’clock.
The break-in came after a similar incident at Jimboomba earlier in the morning
Police are looking for two men who were driving a small blue sedan.
Anyone who may have seen the sedan is asked to contact them.
The IGA is open today with card only sales until the cash supply is replenished.
