Supermarket Ransacked in Early Morning Break-In

A supermarket in Braybrook, located on South Rd in Melbourne’s inner west, experienced a significant break-in early on Wednesday morning. The scene inside the FoodWorks store was one of chaos, with aisles disrupted and items scattered across the floor. Additionally, evidence of the intrusion was visible outside the store, where a shattered bottle lay.

Authorities were alerted to the incident shortly before 6 a.m., and on arrival, they discovered signs of forced entry. It is believed that two individuals were responsible for breaking into the store. A spokesperson from Victoria Police reported that there was an indication that the store’s safe had been interfered with, although it remains uncertain whether any items were actually stolen.

Victoria Police are currently investigating the situation and have called on the public to provide any information that may assist in resolving this case.
