Grocery comparison app, Frugl Grocery has released its version 3.0 which includes a range of new retailers and enhanced features for consumers.
The price comparison function on the app now tracks prices across Aldi, IGA supermarkets, Drakes and Foodland as well as Coles and Woolworths which were included in previous versions. Shoppers can compare the best deals of each week before making a trip to the store.
The app now allows its users to create custom shopping lists, log in to Frugl from social medial channels like Facebook, Google and Apple, and add shopping notes which splits shopping lists among specific retailers. A new wellness feature allows users to identify allergens and nutritional thresholds to make an informed buying decision.
Sean Smith, MD and CEO of Frugl, commented on the growing demand for price and retailer comparison platforms among Australian grocery buyers and addressed the need to save on items in stores every week.
“This is just the beginning for our significant app upgrades for the Frugl community, and with the new capability to add unlimited retailers to our platform to enhance shopping options for users, we’re looking forward to making Frugl even bigger this year.”
The app currently tracks 5200 grocery stores weekly with almost 60,000 products available to compare. The app can be downloaded from the Apple apps store.
