Coles and IGA have recalled a range of ready-to-eat meals over fears it may be contaminated with Listeria.
The supermarket giant and independent food retailers have pulled six varieties of Raw Nation Wholefoods meals from their shelves, including CRUDO and Bocadilla ready made meals.
Food Standards Australia said the recall is due to potential microbial (Listeria monocytogenes) contamination.

“Listeria may cause illness in pregnant women and their unborn babies, the elderly and people with low immune systems,” FSANZ said in a statement.
The following products were recalled:
- Crudo Cheekie Pumpkin 275g
- Crudo Chicken Caesar 200g
- Crudo Vietnamese bowl 275g
- Crudo Jamaican Jerk 250g
- Crudo Oriental Chicken 275g
- Bocadilla Classic Chicken Pasta 275g
The products have the use by dates August 31 2022, September 1 2022, September 2 2022 and September 3 2022.
Customers should not eat the product and have been urged to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
The products have been for sale at Coles supermarket and independent food retailers including IGA in South Australia.
