Heartless thief snatches charity donations from a supermarket

A man has stolen $500 of charity donations from a supermarket in Ivanhoe.

Police have been told the man entered the car park of the Upper Heidelberg Road store in a 2005 or 2006 silver Mazda 2 at about 4am on April 20.

He’s believed to have forced entry to the supermarket and stolen a children’s hospital money spinner and guide dog donation box.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, with a slim build and likely in his 20s or 30s.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
