Shoppers in South Australia and Queensland can now use the DoorDash app to order groceries from Drakes Supermarkets, an independent grocery retailer. To mark this new service, first-time Drakes customers will enjoy a 30% discount on orders over $50, up to a maximum discount of $20, starting from July 19.
With 46 Drakes stores now available on DoorDash in South Australia and Queensland, local residents can order a wide range of items directly through the app, including fresh produce, bakery and deli products, pantry staples, and household essentials.
“This partnership with Drakes is a significant milestone for DoorDash,” the company stated. “Alongside our collaborations with Coles, IGA, and other local grocery favourites like Yuen’s Brisbane, we are now positioned to serve over one million Australians with convenient grocery delivery solutions.”
Puji Fernando, General Manager of DoorDash Australia, expressed excitement about the partnership: “We’re thrilled to bring Drakes to DoorDash, making it easier for our South Australia and Queensland customers to access their favourite groceries. No more long lines at the store – just quick, efficient shopping!”
Drakes Director John-Paul Drake added, “We are proud to partner with DoorDash to offer our last-mile services, making it more convenient for our customers to get their groceries delivered right to their doorstep whenever they need them.”
